SECTION 5 - DISCLOSURE

We may share your personal information in the following circumstances:

Service Providers:

We share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, including:

  • Stripe: Payment processing (processes billing and payment information)

  • HubSpot: Marketing automation and customer relationship management

  • Mixpanel: Analytics and usage tracking

  • Posthog: Analytics and usage tracking

  • Segment (Twilio): Data integration and analytics

  • Twilio: Text messaging services

  • PoweredByText: Text messaging services

  • Hosting providers: Website and data hosting services (e.g., Amazon Web Services)

These providers are contractually required to protect your information and use it only for the services they provide to us.

Legal Requirements:

We may disclose your personal information if required by law, including:

  • In response to valid legal requests (subpoenas, court orders, government investigations);

  • To comply with applicable laws and regulations;

  • To protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users or the public; and

  • To enforce our Terms of Service or other agreements

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for monetary consideration.

Business Transfers:

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or bankruptcy, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Aggregated or De-identified Information:

We may share aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you for research, analytics, or other business purposes.

User-to-User Sharing – Gift Transactions:

When a user purchases a gifted subscription, a unique redemption link is generated and shared with the intended recipient outside of the Services. No personal information about the recipient is collected at the time of purchase.

When the recipient redeems the gift link and creates an account, their account information is stored in our system. At that point, limited account information, specifically the recipient's name, becomes visible to the gifting party within the Services and will remain visible to them on an ongoing basis as part of their gifting history. This visibility is limited to the recipient's name and does not extend to other account details such as password, payment information, or usage activity.

The recipient, by redeeming the gift link and creating an account, acknowledges that their name will be visible to the gifting party within the Services.

User-to-User Sharing – Sing Community Invites:

When you invite another person to join your Sing Community, we may use the contact information you provide to send that invitation on your behalf. If the invitee does not accept, we will only use their contact information for the purpose of delivering the invitation and will not retain it for any other purpose.

If the invitee accepts your invitation, by joining your Sing Community both parties acknowledge that certain account information and activity will be shared across accounts within the Services. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Name: Your name will be visible to other members in your Sing Community

  • Activity: Your engagement and activity within the Services may be visible to other members of your Sing Community

  • Messages: Communications sent within the Sing Community feature will be visible to relevant members of your Sing Community

This sharing is inherent to the Sing Community feature and is necessary to deliver its functionality. You may manage your Sing Community at any time through the Services.

By accepting an invitation or connecting with another user within the Sing Community, both parties agree that the above information will be mutually visible across connected accounts.

SECTION 6 – STRIPE

Transactions are processed through Stripe Inc., a third-party payment processor that enables us to accept payments and sell our products and services securely. Stripe handles all payment data, storing it on secure servers with industry-standard safeguards.

Payment:

When you complete a purchase through Stripe, your credit card information is encrypted and stored in a PCI-DSS compliant environment. We do not store or have access to your full credit card details. Sensitive payment data, such as your full card number or CVV, is never shared with us and is subject to Stripe’s Privacy Policy.

Minimal transaction details (such as the last four digits of your card, card type, and expiration date) may be visible to us for reference or customer support purposes. This information is masked or redacted and cannot be used to complete a transaction.

Stripe retains payment data only as long as necessary to process transactions, handle refunds or disputes, and comply with legal obligations.

All payment gateways used adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS, as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which includes brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by Stripe.

For more information, please review Stripe’s Terms of Service or Privacy Policy

When you visit our Services, these technologies may collect information about your activity, including pages viewed, device information, browser type, and IP address, and transmit that information to the respective platforms.

These platforms may use this information to:

  • Show you relevant advertisements across their networks and partner sites

SECTION 8 – OTHER THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

We use certain third-party service providers to support our operations, including hosting, analytics, marketing, and communication. These providers may process information on our behalf but only to the extent necessary to provide their services.

Third-party services include HubSpot, Mixpanel, Posthog, PoweredByText, and Twilio (Segment), which help us operate our services and analyze usage trends. These providers do not independently collect or sell your personal information. Please note that these providers may operate in jurisdictions different from your own, and your information may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.
